I was that kid not to long ago. I skated with broken wrists, shattered coller bones and even an ruptured appendix. I had my fair share of sprained and broken ankles too. While waiting on the application process for the US Marshal Service to complete (99% done!!), Irecently graduated college andn took on the role of assistant coach to the towns Dixie Youth baseball league, coaching a minor league team (4th and 5th graders). I'd still coach baseball with a broken foot. Getting out there and enjoying the sport I love with a group of 14 boys who love it just as much as I did when I was there age (and through highschool) really brightens up my week. There isn't much to do now that friends have moved on and the job you want to get still hasn't knocked on the door, and being out there on the field, helping the guys hone the skills they need to furthur themselves in the hobby that I love is something I wouldn't give up right now, reguardless of the situation
Well Charlie, you sound as if you have the same demeanor as my overly eager, super tenacious Morgan. (God bless your mother, I feel her exhaustion) Sounds like nothing hold's you back and you must certainly have the determination of a herd of wild horses. Keep up the good work. Hope the backpack come's in handy. Oh and keep up the coaching as long as you can. The world needs more young guys like you with a passion to help those gangly, adolesent boys who eat, sleep and breath the game of baseball. God speed and more power to ya.
E-mail your address. I want to get that backpack to you as soon as possible.
And I must say, this first giveaway was mighty enjoyable. I think I'll do it again. Soon. And I promise the next one will be just as spectacular.
Watch for it.
Over and out.
