Kiddo's has them some skillz. (or something like that)

Remember this?. The skate competition the boys participated in this past September.

First it was originally scheduled for July. Then it was cancelled due to rain here in Middle Tennessee (imagine that)

Then the boys got really upset when they heard the news and acted badly.

Then I decided I was moving to Bermuda. Alone. I do this on a regular basis.  The reason being...I live with boys. Don't judge me. I'm entitled. Or not.

Then they rescheduled the competition for September.

Then in September the boys participated and had a marvelous time.  Mo won this. A skateboard. He won it for having the most beat up board on the ramps that day. And for being fearless. Or competing despite being fearful. However you would like to look at it.

 

But neither one placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Where did they place we asked? They said they would post the scores later.

So we waited.

And watched.

And waited some more..

And then... this.

 

So close.

And yet so very far.

Morgan 4th

Austin   9th

Out of seventeen competitors.... it's not a bad place to land. For either of them.

And yes Mo did beat out his bother (4 year's his senior) 

In fact he beat out most of the other's who were well into they're teens.

We were happy for them.

 

Here's what knowledge we gained from the experience. 

Get out there and do something scary.

 

It's fun.

It's worth it.
