I know it's a little early. I know that it is not even October yet but I can't help but get excited when this kind of thing lands on my doorstep.
It is sort of silly because I already know what's in the box. I ordered it myself and had it sent specifically here. But there is just something about getting to open that box that's been delivered.
And then of course there is the fun of getting to dig through all of those packing peanuts. It's sort of like a treasure hunt. Kinda.
Even Blaze is wondering what all the excitement is about.
"Are there any Dogswell Chicken flavored treat's in there for me" he said. Well, if he could talk that is what he would say. I'm sure of it. Those would be his particularily favorite treats. For sure.
Nope sorry pup. (He is slightly disappointed-can you tell)
But there are indeed another kind of treat in this box. Of that you can be sure.
Treat's to help me document and record our Christmas holiday this year.
Like the new Making Memories Wordfetti stickers. (which you can find at Twopeasinabucket.com. I love these little beauties! Seriously. In the past their wordfetti stickers have been a big part of my December Daily Album (project at www.aliedwards.com)
Also enclosed were the lovely MM Felt poinsettia blossoms. Can't wait to use those for sure.
And I knew that the Noel trims would come in handy on many a page. Look at the brown velvet ruffle for goodness sake!
The Jenni Bowlin chipboard buttons (at Jennibowlin.com) I knew would top it all off. I truly heart Jenni Bowlin products. They are so.. so... vintage.
I am indeed almost ready. I have paper that I can use from year's past and other embellishments to add to this year's book from my current stash.
I'm planning on a more simplistic design this year. If I can swing it.
Going to get started on preparing the book ahead of time inthe next week or so and when I do I will be sure to give you a peek. I truly do love this project.
Really. But of course I have a birthday party to plan for next week and Halloween to participate in. Nope I'm not busy at all. Just crazy. But I like it that way. I think.
